| On the site of the famous Stuart & Sons Glassworks, The Redhouse Cone has just undergone a major restoration and will open to the public in September more info. Sorry you can't see the top of it in this panorama! In the direction of the bridge the canal carries on to Wordsley and then to Stourton and in the opposite direction it goes to Brierley Hill. The bridge itself carries the main road from Stourbridge to Wolverhampton. Opposite the glassworks is a new development of apartments. If you have not been to this area for a while it will surprise you how it has been tastefully renovated around the canal and glassworks area.
