100 photos in and around Stourbridge

This has proved to be extremely popular so we decided to upgrade it with much better photos in widescreen format, especially as most people are on broadband now. It has taken ages to take all the photos due to poor weather this year, but two things emerged from this: 1) Clent Hills seem to show up almost everywhere, and 2) you are never far from a canal in this area! All photos were taken using a Panasonic Lumix digital camera with wide angle lens, please note that we will be retaining the high resolution originals, suitable for a wide range of publishing purposes. While taking the photographs we set one or two ground rules. First, we tried to take our photos well within the one kilometre square i.e. avoiding the edges, using an OS map for guidance. The downside to this rule is that we could not take some of the photos that we wanted to, such as idyllic village scenes, or indeed Stourbridge town centre, but we had to stay true to the concept. If we had to take a photo that was close to one edge we shot it towards the centre of the square to compensate. All photos are unmodified except for slight alterations to brightness where necessary.
