CONDITIONS OF HIRE

1) Charges cover the hire of the boat with crew, irrespective of numbers up to a licence limit of 53 passengers.

2) A deposit of £30 is required with each booking.

3) Confirmation of booking and deposit receipt will be sent by return of post.

4) Bookings are valid only after receipt of deposit and booking form, and issue of our written confirmation.

5) The person signing the booking form shall be deemed to be the Hirer/Party organiser.

6) The hirer shall be responsible for all fees, trip charges must be paid in full 7 days before embarkation. On cancellation, the deposit will only be refunded if a replacement booking can be taken.

7) Every effort is made to provide an efficient service, but we cannot be held responsible for delays. Navigational holdups and stoppages which are outside our control. In such cases, no compensation can be allowed.

8) If we have to cancel a booking for any reason, the hirer shall be entltled only to a refund of deposit and hire fee.

9) Whilst taking all reasonable precautions for passenger safety, we require all passengers to act in a safe and sensible manner. It is the hirer's responsibility to see that his ir her party do so.

10) The boat will be under control of the crew at all times. Any behaviour thought to be harmful to the boat, other passengers, crew, canal works, canal users or residents, cannot be tolerated. Any damage caused thereby would be the hirer's responsibility.

11) NO FOOD OR DRINK MAY BE BROUGHT ON BOARD FOR CONSUMPTION UNLESS BY PRIOR WRITTEN AGREEMENT WITH THE TRIP OPERATOR.

12) No dogs allowed on board. Guide dogs accepted.
