Development - 1982
This photo was taken in early 1982, just when construction of the Crown Centre began. The ring road was built 15 years earlier. To the left you can see Nickolls & Perks wine merchants and Yorkshire Bank, main building in the centre is the orginal market hall, the frontage still exists.
