The Friends of Mary Stevens Park

The Friends of Mary Stevens Park is a local voluntary group which works in partnership with other organisations to maintain the park as an accessible, pleasant and valuable amenity for the local community. Again we are sponsoring the Stourbridge & Black Country Events Corporation, to raise money towards the Park’s restoration.

May Day Fun Day 5th May 2008

The fun day attracts in excess of 12,000 people to the park through the day and the entertainment also includes: Tug-of-War, WWFC Community Football penalty shoot out with Wolfie, a wide variety of live bands, community stalls, funfairs, side shows and other entertainment. One of our main events for 2008 will be a fun day spectacular, incorporating a professional Horse Stunt Team with a Wild West Show.

Advertising Opportunities

Why not contribute £250-00 for the incorporation of an advert up to a maximum of a half page in size into the programme? Alternatively, we can offer a mention of your name for £100-00. I have enclosed a copy of last year’s as a sample. There will be additional pages this year. The park will be decked with bunting on the day and sponsor banners are of course welcome. Any Sponsors may also enter their own team/s for a Tug-of-War. We would appreciate any expressions of interest as soon as possible.
