Old Stourbridge Library
- Development Opportunity

View of the old Stourbridge Library from the Ring Road

This magnificent building, one of the finest in Stourbridge town centre, is for sale as a development opportunity. Built in 1905, the library was designed by Frederick Woodward and financed by the American philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie.

Presumably suitable uses might be offices or luxury apartments, but as long as the building is preserved largely in its present form either of these is surely a good solution.
