For the first time in the club's 133 year history and watched by over 2000 fans, the Glassboys lost one nil to Walsall, ending their FA cup dreams. The only goal was scored by Steve Jones about 30 minutes into the match, but the Glassboys refused to be intimidated by their visitors and gave a great performance. Never mind, there's always next year!

Stourbridge Glassboys flag Stourbridge Glassboys beat Buxton 4 - 0 at their Silverlands ground on Saturday October 24th 09, making history for the club - the first time in the Glassboy's 133 year history they have got to the FA cup fourth qualifying round, a sensational achievement. Full credit must go to manager Gary Hackett and his team.
