If you measured a town by the number of clubs and societies it has then Stourbridge is a rich town indeed. It's one of the things that makes the town special, the vibrancy and enthusiasm of people for a huge range of topics. This is only a small number of them so if you are a member of a club please get in touch, even if you don't have a website, no charge

The group is a volunteer led association of like minded people who care for Stourbridge, and who do not wish to watch it disappear under a growing layer of bottles, cans and fast food packaging. The Y Project is a new charitable organization that helps disabled and disadvantaged young people on the road to independence and employment. The project runs from a cafe which is a social enterprise providing work experience and enterprise opportunities to these young people. The cafe is Silver End Cafe, Brettell Lane Industrial Estate, Brettell Lane, Brierley Hill (Behind the Crown Pub) The cafe is open all week including Saturdays and is now offering OAP meals on a Monday and Wednesday afternoon.
Sara Wyre Forest
The Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) is an independent Inshore Rescue Boat and Land Search organisation covering the Severn Estuary, upper reaches of the River Severn, and the rivers Wye, Bristol Avon, Tewkesbury Avon and Usk. Every single member of SARA is unpaid for the time they give. We are one of a few charities these days that do not pay any members. All crew do this around their regular jobs and family life. SARA becomes very much a way of life for its devoted crew. Many crew have full time jobs and families who support them being on emergency call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The National Childbirth Trust
The National Childbirth Trust is the largest and best known childbirth and parenting charity in Europe. It wants all parents to have an experience of pregnancy, birth and parenthood that enriches their lives and gives them confidence in being a member. Stourbridge and Halesowen branch of the NCT gives support to new parents by providing a wide range of services, as well as a friendly network of local mums. We are a small friendly club always seeking new members of all standards. We are keen to attract beginners, both young and mature and those wishing to learn the game of Bridge. We are happy to teach the rudiments of the game to all. We levy a small fee to cover the cost of room rental (currently £2.00 a session), and a cup of coffee or tea is available. We are a local Girls Brigade group meeting at Peters Hill Primary School every Tuesday night in term time from 5.30-7.15pm (6.00-8.00pm for girls in year 9 and above). Girls aged 4 (Reception) upwards are welcome to come and join the fun. GB is passionate to raise the volume of hope among girls and young people, and we do this by providing local action-packed, fun and safe friendship groups for children, girls and young women aged four+ to join. 4-8s are invited to join the journey in n:vestigate groups. 7-11s discover the adventure in n:gage groups 10–14s meet real life 13-18s experience the challenge in GB’s n:spire groups. Providing activities to young people with disabilities 11-30-year-olds (discretionary}. for Wordsley, Stourbridge Dudley and surrounding area to create a safe provision for young people to participate in educational learning, sports, arts & crafts, computers, cooking, trips, socialising with friends etc. 
The project is an inclusive project for young people with disabilities/learning difficulties. 
Ready 4 LIfe runs a weekly session and includes activities that enable young people to build skills and knowledge, grow in confidence, interact in a social environment and develop lasting friendships.
